Peter Christian Vrooman, age 69, of Miamisburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
He was born June 16, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to the late Sydney & Olive Vrooman. Peter served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, and then he went to work for WPAFB where he retired.
He and Betty loved to play cards at the Kettering Rec. Center, watch old movies and going out to dinner. Peter was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Rule.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Vrooman; siblings, Holly Vrooman, Joy Okun, Stephen Vrooman and Lynn Vrooman; step-children, Debra Snider and Donald Alexander; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432). The memorial service will follow at 7pm, with Pastor Scott Goodman officiating.
