Pete Hufford

Pete Hufford, age 63, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. He was born April 2, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio.
Pete sang and played bass in many Southern Gospel groups for over 40 years. He was a founding member of Victory Christian Church and served as a Trustee on the church council. Pete worked for Fed Ex Freight for over 20 years working his way from the dock to a People Development Specialist. He enjoyed playing golf with his close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hufford; step-father, Ashton Sayre and sister, Kathy Frampton. Pete is survived by his loving wife, Judi; mother, Margaret Sayre; daughter, Paige Burton; son, Josh (Kirsten Kjos-Burton) Burton; granddaughter, Nora Burton and nephew, James Frampton. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Victory Christian Church, 2275 S. Patterson Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45409.
Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Victory Christian Church Celebrate 20.
