Penny S. Ashburn, age 54 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah (Colwell) Ledbetter; grandfather, Clayton Colwell; nephew, Kevin Robinson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Sam Ashburn, Jr.; very special pet yorkie, Scotty; daughters, Tera Fernandez, Angela Ashburn and Katelynn Ledbetter; grandchildren, Dakota, Keegan, Konner, and Surrie; father, Earl Ledbetter; grandmother, Daisy Colwell; sister, Della Robinson; brother, Dale Ray Ledbetter; special nieces, Jessie Robinson, and Kristan Hursh; and nephew, Justin Ledbetter.
Penny was a member of the Salem Church of God. She was a proud breast cancer survivor and became a big supporter of breast cancer awareness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in Penny's memory.
