Penny Rogers

Penny Alford Rogers, age 64 of Washington Township, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 31, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Lester and Carol Alford. Penny worked for Hess Family Dental as the Business Manager. Family was the center of her life and she was happiest spending time with her Husband, Children, and Grandchildren. Penny loved caring for her four legged friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Penny is survived by her husband of 23 years, Joseph; Daughters, Elizabeth (Nate) Lester and Emily Sowards; Son, Michael (Amie) Rogers; Grandchildren, Joshua, Hayden, Lila, Jeffrey, and Anna; Brother, Randy Alford; and numerous family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Carol and Lester Alford; Sister, Paula Bruns; and Brother, Steven Alford.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 20 at 5:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd. Dayton, OH 45459. A Visitation will be held from 3:00PM till the time of the service at 5 PM. Burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the American Lung Association.
