Penelope Jo Gowker

Penelope "Penny" Jo Gowker, 76, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024. Loving wife of George Gowker for 54 years, cherished mother of Chad (Carmen) Gowker and Seth (Benita) Gowker, adored grandmother of 4 grandchildren. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents George and Florence Hudgins.
Penny worked at Carlson Elementary School and enjoyed working with the children everyday. She also enjoyed working in her garden as well as taking vacations with George, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
A memorial gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Saturday May 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
