Peggy Scott

Scott, Peggy Joyce, age 70, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1937 in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of Sidney Alton & Joyce Pauline (Franklin) Scott. She managed W.W. Mac Five and Ten for 35 years. Peggy was currently employed at Elder Beerman. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Sidney Scott, Jr. Survivors include her sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Seale of Tipp City, Donna (Clifton) Black of Friendsville, TN, Frieda Garrison of Dayton, Glenda Scott of Dayton, & Norma (Mike) Ferris of Huber Heights; brothers, Robert Scott of Dayton, & William Scott of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, with Pastor Kenny Shiveley officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7 PM. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
