Peggy J. Moyer, 86, formerly of Englewood, Ohio passed away September 20, 2018.
She was born January 10, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late James and Lucile (Baker) King. She retired from Inland, division of GM, after 30 years of service. Peggy was a devoted sister and was preceded in death by her siblings: Helen, Pauline, Ruby, Margaret, Grace, Jim, Betty and Billy.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stanley E. Moyer; children: Vikki (Clay) Moore, Steve (Ashley) Higginbotham, Kim (Joe) Cunningham, Tesa (Steve) Burke; grandchildren: P.J.(Doug Kirk) Babb, Leah (Jordan) Hamlin, Travis Ullery, Steve(Joey) Burke, Clay (Molly) Moore, Nick Higginbotham, and Chloe Higginbotham; and great-grandchildren: Noah Babb, Levi Ullery, Victoria Babb, Claira Hamlin, Annie Hamlin, and William Hamlin.
Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very active with her family and enjoyed attending sporting and drama events that her grandchildren participated in. She will be remembered as the "Chuck E. Cheese Grandma". Peggy loved spending outdoors with her husband especially near the water. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 4:00pm until time of memorial service at 5:00pm at Miami Shores Baptist Church 4000 Vance Road, Pastor Doug Surber officiating.
