Peggy L. Colston

October 8, 1935 — February 9, 2015

Peggy L. Colston, 79, of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born October 8, 1935 in Pembroke, Virginia the daughter of the late Chapman and Glenna Meredith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

She enjoyed setting up her booth at local flea markets where she was known as "The Black Headed Hillbilly".

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Johnny; two sons, Randy Collins and Jason Irwin; daughter, Martha Cassidy; sister, Patsy Marshall; brothers, Eugene Meredith and George (Barbara) Meredith; seven grandchildren, Jaden Irwin, Sierra Irwin, Marie Collins, Randy Collins Jr., Doug Collins, Wendell Cassidy Jr. and Carrie Cassidy; she is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
