HALL, Peggy J. 81, of Centerville, OH passed away November 30th, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Lima, OH on November 13th, 1940, the daughter of Ferman and Thelma Jackson. Peggy was a 1958 graduate of Greenon High School. She thrived at and enjoyed her career in administration at General Motors for many years where she eventually retired. However, she got bored very quick, so she started a second career as a paralegal which she was very talented at and also enjoyed. She was admired and loved by, not only many family members and friends, but work colleagues as well. Peggy was a faithful member of Normandy United Methodist Church for much of her life volunteering a lot of her time to the youth group. She, also, enjoyed volunteering her time at Victoria Theater and Schuster Center (and bragging about one time she incidentally met Tyler Perry when he popped in to see his own play). She enjoyed playing cards with many friends during her off time, too. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, son, late daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Jackson.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years Charles Hall; son Jason (Nicole) Hall; grandchildren Dylan and Cory Hall; sister Sue (Keith) Terry; brother Roger (Jeanie) Jackson; and so many other family members and friends who she loved dearly.
If there were only three words to describe her, they would be loving, kind, and forgiving. As a way to remember her, try to incorporate those principals in your life, each day. She would be so proud as those things were the essence of who she was. She will be greatly missed by many, but her spirit will always remain with us at all times.
