Peggy L. Gainey

Peggy L. Conner-Gainey, age 90 of Beavercreek, formerly Greenwood, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Village at the Greene. She was born May 30, 1933 in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian Jerriell.

Peggy was employed with Mallory Factory, where she met her first husband, Paul. Following Paul's passing, she met and married her second husband, Mearl. They both enjoyed traveling in their RV to Florida. She also enjoyed reading. Most importantly, Peggy loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her children, Cindy (Mike) Brinson, Paul Randall "Randy" Conner, and Kathleen (Chris) Howe; grandchildren, Jonathan (Megan) Brinson, Christopher (Helen) Brinson, Shallon (Michael) Cerf, Tyler (Estrella) Conner, Adam (Megan) Howe, Paul (Heather) Howe, Evan Howe; great grandchildren, Luke, Mackenzie, Isla, Dorian, Martin, Liam, Declan, Aiden, Emmanuel "Manny", Harper, Emerson, Belle, Dillon, Madison, Hadley, and Kinsley; sister, June Sizemore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Conner; second husband, Mearl Gainey; and her three sisters, Ruth, Grace, and Doris.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
