Peggy Ann Fanning

Peggy Ann Fanning, age 59 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born January 19, 1962 in Wiesbaden, Germany to the late Robert and Mary Fanning.
Peggy was a loving companion, mother, grandmother and sister. She cherished time spent with her family and friends and enjoyed doing for others. She bowled on a women's league and volunteered at a local food bank. She loved cats and always had one her entire life. Peggy will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy L. Fanning.
Peggy will be missed by her loving spouse of 36 years, Mark Auter; daughter, Nancy (Chris) Rains; grandson, Christopher Rains; granddaughter, Sherry "Sam" Rains; sister, Barbara "Jane" Krug (Eddie Nelson, Sr.); brothers, Jim Fanning, Johnny Fanning and William "Bill" (Anita) Fanning; nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021. Visitation will be held from 3-4 p.m. and then again following the service until 6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
