Pearlean Bates, age 68, of Dayton went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 14, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Taft Elder and Gizelle Mars; daughter, Yvonne Inskeep; and several siblings.
Pearlean is survived by her daughters, Sheila Y. (Anthony) Keeton, Valerie R. Bates and Georgette Bates; son-in-law, Kennith D. Inskeep; brother, Percy (Lillie) Bates; sisters, Sylvia Burns, Rosie (Cleo) Meredith and Laura Cobb; sister-in-law, Clemetine Bates; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2013 from 10-11am at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church (2262 Gettysburg Ave, Dayton, OH 45406). The service will follow at 11am.
