Pearl T. Marcum, age 92 of Miami Township, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was born September 7, 1923 in Sturgeon, Kentucky the daughter of the late Dr. Benjamin and Amanda Tye.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Virgil W. Marcum; and foster son, Keith Anderson
Pearl is survived by 4 foster grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Pearl was an active member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church for many years. She retired from General Motors/Frigidaire with over 30 years of service.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral Service will follow 11:00 am. In honor of Pearl, donations can be made to The Hospice of Dayton. To send a special message to the family, please visit www.NewcomerDayton.com
