Pearl L. Markley, 96, of Dayton, passed away August 27, 2017. Pearl was born in Dayton, OH on December 14, 1920 to the late Clarence and Marie (Shumaker) Reuber. Pearl retired from Delco products after many years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, White Shrine #13, VFW #3283, Ladies Aux. of Moose #73 and Sunbeam Chapter #465 OES for over 50 years. In her free time she enjoyed going to the Milton Athletic Club and listening to the Kettering Banjo Society.

In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward J. Markley, Sr.; and her siblings, John, Dorothy and Edith.

She is survived by her son, Edward (Angela) Markley; grandchildren, Tara Markley, Tabitha (Doug) Salyers, Tyler Markley; great grandchildren, Joseph, Hayley, Hayden, Adriana, Peyton; and several other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Funeral services will follow Friday at 10:00 am.

Burial at Riverside Cemetery in West Milton.
