Pearl "Chris" Temple

Pearl Christine "Chris" Temple, age 78 of Medway, was called to Heaven on Jan 18, 2012. She was born in Wilder, TN on 8/16/1933 and raised in Sparta, TN. Chris was preceded in death by her parents Willie Lee and Eva Scott of Sparta TN; by her beloved husband of 60 years Henry N. Temple of Dayton, OH; and a brother Jim Scott of Sparta, TN.

Chris is survived by three daughters and two sons: Linda Kitchen of Indiana, Dreama Temple and Gina Temple of Medway, Stan (Cindy) Temple of Beavercreek, and Glenn "Tony" Temple of Columbus. She is also survived by two sisters: Helen Heaton of Crossville TN, Jo (Eber) Phillips of Medway, brother, Bobby Scott of Medway; five grandchildren: Andy, Sarah, Aaron, Amy, Eric, and many nieces and nephews.

Chris touched the lives of many people during her lifetime, and was a life-long Christian and faithful member of the New Beginnings Church of God (Huber Heights). Raising her five children was her passion. Doting over her five grandchildren was her "hobby", and her husband Henry was the love of her life. Chris' family would like to extend their sincere appreciate to the wonderful staff at Day-View Care Center in New Carlisle for the care and compassion they have given Chris and her husband, Henry.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 am on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 am. Reverend John Lamb officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dennis Epperson officiating.
