Pauline Young

Pauline Young, age 78 of West Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 7, 1938 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Jason Daniels and Geneva Daniels Stapleton.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Young; brother, Elmer "Bob" Daniels; step-father, Doc Stapleton; brother-in-law, Danny Adams; sister-in-law, Shirley Daniels.

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Freida (James) Kendrick, Kathy (James) McKenzie, Carolyn Lake; son, James Young; sisters, Earlene (Fike) Zahroon, Phyllis (Marvin) McKenzie, Sharon Adams, Betty (Kenny) Collinsworth, Sandy (T.C.) Music; brothers, Elva (Vivian) Daniels, Delmer "Donnie" Daniels, Johnnie (Sandy) Daniels, Larry (Goldie) Daniels, Frank (Maude) Stapleton; sister-in-law, Loretta Daniels; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering, OH 45439. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1 pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton.
