Pauline Williamson, was born on August, 28th 1954, in Ashland, Alabama to the late Robert Lee and Ruby Glen Williamson. She was called home to be with the Lord on August 23rd, 2022. She is preceded in death by her brother Wade Williamson, niece April Williamson, and nephew Michael Williamson.
Accepting Christ at an early age, she was a lifelong member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio, for over fifty years. She was devoted to service, serving on the Children's Van Ministry, Children's Band Ministry, and the church drill team. Pauline graduated from Roosevelt High school in 1974. Pauline Williamson was a recipient of an NAACP community service award and was honored with a "Toast Of The Town''. Pauline was a loving Mother, and Grand Mother, believing that laughter was medicine for the soul and she teased many with an array of one-liners. She enjoyed spending time with her family, planned vacations and retreats with her sisters. Working with the youth and caring for the elderly brought her great joy. She was also a loyal Cincinnati Bengals fan.
Pauline leaves to cherish her precious memories; her dutiful children: Roland Williamson (Lori Porter), Ricoderes (Chantaye) Williamson, Sharita Williamson (Laquan Mills); Six Grandchildren; Delsean Porter, Darryon, Daymond Williamson, Rico Williamson, Kaila Dobosu, and Nyaisha Mills; Four Brothers, Robert Williamson, Blumer Williamson, Roger (Rochelle) Williamson, and Martin (Donnetta) Williamson. Four sisters; Annette (Darrell) Thomas, Jennifer (Mickey)Stephens, Hazel (Jeffrey) Campbell, and Audrey Williamson; loyal Sister in Law; Terri Jamison; Special friends; Ann Knight, Crystal Knight, and Marcus Merrett; Special Aunts; Alma Barnes, and Annie-Ruth Knight; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 2262 N Gettysburg Ave., in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 12:00pm.
