Pauline A. Stamps, age 94 of West Carrollton, passed peacefully on September 26, 2022. She was born on August 21, 1928 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Bertha Ashley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Stamps; six siblings, Buddy, Sissy, Arthur Jr., Josephine, Charles, and JE; and many of the Stamps family.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Bruce) Bowling; three grandsons, Bill (Ginger), Bub (Kris), and Brandon (Robin); nine great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca (Ryan), Wilson (Cara), Nathan, Ashlyn, Landon, Eli, Griffin, and Noah; and great-great-grandson, Isaiah; three special nieces, Jonell, Paula, and Carol. She is also survived by a host of family and friends.
Pauline was proud of her Appalachian heritage. She retired from the Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1990. The most important thing to Pauline was her family and she enjoyed spoiling everyone. She also enjoyed hosting the annual "Special People" party. Pauline loved to dance, listen to country music, and had a decade long crush on Brad Paisley. She is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
