NEWMAN, Pauline, age 87, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 after a long illness in Rome, GA.
Mrs. Newman was the 5th of 13 children born September 23, 1925 to George and Elizabeth Ross Miller in Lee County, Kentucky. She and the love of her life, Raymond Tye Newman were married and moved to Dayton, OH, where they raised a family and Pauline remained until July 2012. She was deeply involved in her church and church family. She welcomed many friends and family in her home over the years and gave generously of her hospitality and help when needed. Mrs. Newman will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Newman is survived by her loving daughter daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Yvonne and Jon Fry of Kennesaw, GA; two granddaughters and their husbands, Angie and Jeremy Whitehead of Dallas, GA, Christina and Shane Hunt of Chattanooga, TN; great-grandson, Ethan Hunt. She is also survived by three sisters, Olpha Hall, Mary Joyce Warner, Effie Georgia Peters and two brothers, Chester Miller and Eugene Miller and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Newman was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond Tye Newman in 2002; son, Larry Ray Newman in 1948; three brothers, Floyd, Paul and Raymond Miller; four sisters, Virginia Whisman, Laura Durbin, Cora Hager and Myrtle Myers.
