Pauline Louise Phillips

PHILLIPS, Pauline Louise "Motherdear", age 83, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital with her family at her side. She was born in Stone Cliff, West Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Mitchell; husband, Junius Phillips; daughter, Mae Shirley Wyrick; sons, Larry and Robert Phillips; 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. She is survived by 1 brother, James (Gracie) Mitchell of Dayton, OH and 1 sister, Mary Jane (Henry Lee) Tyson of Huber Heights, OH; 4 children, Paul (Valerie) Phillips of Detroit, MI, Hughey Phillips, Sylvia Ivy, and Sanford Phillips, all of Dayton, OH, in addition to 29 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, with the family receiving friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Greencastle Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
