GRUBB, Pauline H., age 88, a resident of Dayton for 55 years, passed away at Hospice of Dayton. Pauline was born May 17, 1917 to John and Alice (Barnes) Hatfield in Caryville, TN. Pauline retired from Dayton Power & Light. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corliss F. Grubb on Jan. 28, 1989; by her son, William L. Grubb June 16, 2002; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Sue (Alice) & Charles Watson; a son, John Grubb; sister, Betty Winchester of Harriman, TN; daughter-in-law, Johnnie Mae Grubb; grandchildren, Mike (Lynda) Grubb, Karen (Bob) Bernauer of AZ, Lisa Davis of Texas, Jeff Watson of TN, Lori (Dan) Smith, Alison Grubb, Adam Grubb; great-grandchildren, Brandon (Heather) Grubb of NM, Britni Clark of NM, Bryan Watson of TN, Aaron and Zachary Grubb, Elijah R. Smith; 1 great-great-grandson, Elijah W. Grubb of NM. At the time of Pauline's passing she was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple. Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Entombment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
