Pauline Crevonis

September 26, 1926 — November 3, 2015

Pauline Grace Crevonis (Hager) departed this world on November 3rd, 2015 at the age of 89 at Patriot Ridge Community Nursing Home. A resident of Dayton, Ohio for forty-five years, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bernard Crevonis, who passed away October 12, 2009. Avid musicians, Ed and Pauline met in high school band, beginning a relationship that would last over sixty years. With Ed's entrance into the military they led the storybook Air Force life; enduring three wars during which Ed earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, creating a family of four children, and experiencing the world. Music, travel, animals, and gardening were their mutual interests. Pauline had a particular love for growing and arranging flowers, filling their yard and house with beautiful blooms. She was blessed during the last years of her life to have the loving caregiving of Loretta, who was valued by all as a member of the family. Pauline is survived by her children Christine (Donald) Land, Gary (Helen) Crevonis, Mark (Debby) Crevonis, and Diane (Lee) Halvorsen; grandchildren Richard, Jennifer, Marcy, Nathan, Maya, Justin, Spencer, Kirsten, Kelsey, and Kyle; and great-grandchildren Arik, Zane, Jude, and Veda. No formal services will be held. Interment will be at LaFayette Memorial Park in Uniontown, PA.
