CRAIN, Pauline age 87 passed away June 8, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Carl Crain; 2 sons, Clyde W. and Calvin Crain; and daughter-in-law, Lou Ann Ford.
She is survived by sons, Claude (Charlotte), Charles "Rudy" (Gail) Crain, James Ford; daughters, Barbara (Chester) Combs, Claudette (Chuck) Loyd, and Carol Crain (John Davis); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katherine Petrey and Venoy Gibbons; and daughter-in-law, Nadine Crain.
Pauline was a member of First Dayton Freewill Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Miami County for their care and support. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Miami County.
