Paulette C. Vaughn, age 70, of Riverside, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2018. She was born in Corbin, KY to the late Glenn and Vanie Baker. Paulette was an accomplished beautician, owning her own salon; and a hard worker. Raising four boys made her a strong, yet compassionate woman. Paulette married the love of her life, Ronald Vaughn in 1987.
Paulette loved to find a bargain or a great deal. She enjoyed going to garage sales and auctions. Paulette took great pride and joy in her family and she adored her grandchildren and loved to dote on them. Paulette was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be fondly remembered for her passion for life and her generous spirit.
In addition to her parents, Paulette was preceded in death by siblings, Sharon Abrams, Steve Baker, and Vickie (Keith) Vance.
Paulette leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 31 years, Ronald Vaughn; sons, Richie Clark, Ronald Dwayne (Amy) Vaughn, Timothy (Patty) Vaughn, Matthew (Melissa) Stidham; grandchildren, Christian, Emily, Megan, Christopher, Ryan, Vanessa, and Colin; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Lyli, April, Bently, and C.J.; siblings, Daryl (Margaret) Baker, Ronnie Baker, Mike (Linda) Baker, Debbie (Chuck) Isaacs, and Tim (Cammie) Baker; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Paulette's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 12pm at Newcomer-North Chapel. Visitation to be held for two hours prior (10am-12pm). Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paulette's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
