Paula Wise

Paula Wise, age 76 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2019. She was born April 20, 1943 in Gary, WV to the late George and Fannie Collier.

Paula is survived by her husband of 45 years, Fayne Wise; daughters: Cynthia Ridgell (Dorniko) and Stephanie Cunningham (Corey); step-children: Ettaween Wise-Eady and Shane Wise; grandchildren: Cameron, Ayanna, Faith, Jon-Fayne, Israel, Zion, Corey, Makayla, Brie, Celine and Jalen; sisters: Phyllis, Sherry and Joan; brothers: Elbert, George and Larry (Lisa); many nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.

Paula was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the HYHO Club and The Inspiration Church. She served as the First Lady of Shiloh Baptist Church, Lima, Ohio and was a former member of Third Baptist Church, Toledo, Ohio. Paula retired from Lima City Schools. She was a founding board member of Quest Academy in Lima. She graduated from Central State University, Class of 1965.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2019 at The Inspiration Church, 2900 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, where the family will receive family and friends for one hour prior to the service, from 6-7 pm. Contributions may be made to Inspire Me Learning Academy, 2900 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, OH 45405.
