Paul Scott Wellman Sr.

Paul Scott Wellman Sr., age 63, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He was born on February 15, 1960 in Dayton, OH to Barbara and Robert Wellman.

Scott was the BBQ King. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns and spending time with his family. Scott was a great friend, father and loved his wife, Michelle very much. They were two peas in a pod. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Pauline and Emry Nauhard; his in-laws, Erma L. Lovelace, Paul H. Shutts Sr. and Dick Lovelace; brother-in-laws, Raymond S. Shutts and Paul H. Shutts Jr. and his sister-in-law, Victoria Shutts.

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Z. Wellman; his son, Paul S. Wellman Jr.; his siblings, Doug Wellman and Gina (Walter) Poff; his sister-in-law, Nichole A. (Todd) Wade; his nephews, Raymond Wade, Tyler Wade and Joe Poff and his nieces, Sarah Shutts, Amanda Shutts and Stephanie Ritter. He is also survived by his dogs, Rocky and Snickers and numerous family and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Way of the Cross Church, 612 Beatrice Drive, Dayton, OH 45404. Please join the family for refreshments in the gym immediately following the service.
