Paul L. Van Hoesen

Paul L. Van Hoesen, age 84, of Centerville, Ohio passed away on July 2, 2019. Paul was born in Newark, New York on January 3, 1935. He was the son of George and Irene (Badger) Van Hoesen.
For many years Paul was an interior designer and owner of Van Hoesen Interiors in Dayton. Paul was proud to have had the opportunity to serve in the United States Army. Paul was an avid pet lover and truly enjoyed his many pet dogs. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed fishing, reading and studying World War II history, watching football and most of all, spending time with his family. Paul's outgoing personality and wit will be missed by all who knew him.
Paul is survived by his loving companion for many years, Darlene Van Hoesen; daughter, Kim (Clint) Alm, Melanie (Steve) Rohrig, Rick Beatty; sons, Curt and Mark; granddaughters, Lauren and Katie; grandson, Josh; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sister; Helen; and brothers, George and Robert.
Paul will be cremated with a private family memorial service to follow at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Leonard's Health & Rehabilitation Center and The Hospice of Dayton for their loving and compassionate care of our beloved Paul.
