Paul Charles Trzeciak, age 81 of Dayton, passed away March 7, 2017. He was born March 1, 1936 in Dayton to the late Walter and Sophia Trzeciak. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Trzeciak; and wife, Grace Trzeciak.
Paul is survived by his daughters: Melinda (Jim) Landry and Becky (Gary) Taylor; grandchildren: Terry (Jessica) Kolakowski, Christopher Shade, Cassaundra Taylor and Gary Taylor, Jr.; great-grandson, Preston; brother, Chester (Roberta) Trzeciak; sisters: Patricia (Ellis) Miller and Mary (Doug) Apt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard. He retired from D.P.&L; was a member of Am-Vets Post # 99, "40 and Eight" and the Polish Club.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the Hospice of Dayton or to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
