Paul Temple, age 77, passed away on May 28, 2024 in Dayton, Ohio. Born on February 17, 1947, in Marion, Ohio, Paul led a remarkable life filled with love and laughter.
He attended Pleasant High School with the class of 1966 in Marion, Ohio, and led a successful career as a truck driver.
Paul's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his country. A proud veteran, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His bravery and dedication to duty were a testament to his strong character and sense of honor.
Beyond his military service, he was known for his quick wit and humor, he brought laughter and light to all those around him. His love for motorcycles, classic cars, and drag racing reflected his adventurous spirit.
Paul Temple will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Temple, whom he shared 27 years with; his daughter Kristen Temple, whom he adored and spoiled; stepsons Evan Stevens, Shane (Nataly) Stevens; son Christopher (Sarah) Hughes, who he cherished and was extremely proud of; his brothers Jimmy Temple, Donald Temple, Billy Temple, and John (Isabell) Temple; sister Mary Shepherd; as well as his brother-in-law Gary Wood and sister-in-law Deborah Temple.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Temple; his sister Carolyn Wood and brother Robert Temple.
A graveside service will be held to honor Paul's memory at Dayton National Cemetery on June 12th at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will be a moment of remembrance and celebration of his life.
Paul's legacy of courage, humor, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was cherished by many and that his spirit lives on in the memories shared by family and friends.
