Paul Schafer

Paul Schafer, age 89 of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Friendship Village. He was born May 11, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Milburn and Susie Schafer.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Schafer.

Paul is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughters, Melanie (Dan) Bridenbaugh, Brenda Schafer, Mary Ann (Scott) Shawmeker; sister, Martha Burton; grandchildren, Johanna (James) Danishek, Rocky Fernandez, II, Esther (LaFayette) Lane, Bethany (Linda) Bennett, Olivia (Ryan) Herrick; great grandchildren, Luke Danishek, Matthew Danishek, Zarin Bennett, Abraham Wetmore, Jack Herrick; two step sons, Paul (Angie) Stringfellow, Tim (Neha) Stringfellow; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Paul was a wonderful husband, father and friend. His vibrant faith and witness was an inspiration to all.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Lifeway Pentecostal Church (2446 Trebein Rd., Beavercreek Twp., OH 45385). Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 am, also at the church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to the Lifeway Building Fund at Lifeway Pentecostal Church.
