Paul Ryan Johnson, age 36, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013.
Paul was born on April 12, 1977 in Kettering, Ohio, to Linda Darlene and Clyde Lewis Johnson. He attended the Immaculate Conception school and later attended Carroll High School. In his youth, Paul was a member of the Indian Guides and played baseball at Immaculate; later, playing football for Carroll as Nose-Tackle and Right Guard.
He has spent his life in the Dayton Area. He worked in the Auto Parts industry and later moved into the Construction Materials Testing and Inspection industry.
Paul really enjoyed reading science fiction, especially the Star Wars novels. He also loved to play RPG and board games, owned several professional remote control cars and enjoyed watching football. He loved the outdoors and helped others to explore the creeks and woods in the Dayton area.
Paul will be especially remembered for his Johnson-family wit, gentle nature and big heart.
Survivors include his son Drew, sisters Amanda and Isabella, mother Linda, nephew James and many other family and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his father Clyde, his grandmother Mary and grandfather John.
There will be a Viewing at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 3rd, from 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held the following day at Newcomer Funeral Home on Wednesday with service starting at 11a.m. At the end of the funeral service, the Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton Ohio.
