Paul Stewart Robinson

October 18, 1944 — February 9, 2021

Paul Stewart Robinson was a caring, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away on February 9th, 2021, at the age of 76.

He was born in England and grew up in New Zealand. He came to the US on a scholarship to GMI and after graduating he worked as an engineer at General Motors and plant manager at AM General before retiring in 2013. Paul became a US citizen in 1986, and even though he still loved his British roots, he was a very proud American.

Paul had a passion for technology, problem-solving, reading, swimming, and golf. He passed along several gifts to his children, including a strong work ethic, a moral compass, a sense of humility, compassion for others, a fascination for how things work, and an independent nature. He had a unique ability to find and share joy and laughter in life. Paul really enjoyed singing and loved it when someone sitting near him at church would tell him he had a beautiful voice. Two of his favorite songs were "How great Thou art" and "In Christ alone".

Paul excelled as a Provider, a Protector and a champion of all things Good! Driven by a pure heart, he succeeded in leaving an absolutely indelible mark on this world that, quite simply, will never fade!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Norman Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jane; their three children, David, Jennifer, and Alex; his four grandchildren, Andrew, Noah, Charles, and Avery; and his two sisters, Margaret and Susan.

A private memorial service will be held this spring. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project or Samaritan's Purse.
