Paul Edward Richards Sr.

Paul Edward Richards, 84, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024. Loving father of Mark (Joi) Wilson, Amanda Gibbs and Paul Richards (Kim), cherished grandfather of Rebecca (Brian), Patrick, Joshua, Jeremy, Travis, Camee, Elijah and Kylee and great grandfather of Roselynn.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife Janice Richards; parents Elmer and Mary Richards; son in law Mike Gibbs; daughter in law Crystal Wilson and siblings Richard Richards, Robert Richards, William Richards and Mary Richards.

Paul retired from DAP Inc and he enjoyed that retirement. He loved going camping, fishing and working in the yard. He also enjoyed spending time with family around an open fire or just relaxing by the pool.

Paul has served The Lord since 1968. During that time he trained as an evangelist for a year and started pastoring in 1978. He started his ministry at Full Gospel Community Church in Troy, Ohio where he made lifelong friends. He then opened his Church, Tower of Faith, where he pastored for many years until its closing. After his church closed he because a 20 year member of Victory Temple. His last words were one's he would like to share... "He wants to see all of us in Heaven".

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Tuesday March 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the family to assist in Paul's funeral expenses.
