Paul Pirrung

Pirrung, Paul Frederick, age 73, of Huber Heights, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008. He was born February 5, 1935 in Tiffin, OH. Paul attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and Calvert High School in Tiffin. He earned his bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton. Paul retired after 35 years from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1993. He was an active member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Huber Heights, OH since 1963. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Clara Pirrung and son, Ronald. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Florence (Nemeth) and their children and their spouses, Thomas and Debbie, Denise Wright, Timothy and Donna, and Keith and Melissa; daughter-in-law, Jill; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rev. George, Joseph and Cathy, Frances Fleming, Florence Lucius, James and Donna; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and other extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, OH. Burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Hospice of Dayton.
