Paul Owen Childs, age 76, of Harrison Twp., proud army Vietnam veteran, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
Paul was born in Lima, Ohio on December 14, 1946 to the late Harry & Florence Childs.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janet Childs; daughters, Jennifer Pack and Angie (Raymond) Zuercher; grandchildren, Justin (Kristina) Pack, Mikayla (Shawn) Cooper, Jacob (Amanda) Lee, Kristin Zuercher and R.J. Zuercher; and siblings, Harry (Virginia) Childs, Mike (Deb) Childs, Ruth (Jerry) Goodwin, Sara (Jerry) Kessler and Mark (Kari) Childs.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at the Newcomer North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 12:30 pm.
Paul will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
