Age 83, of Dayton passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Anna Mae Venditti; one brother, Vito; and by one sister, Antoinette Areno.
Paul is survived by two daughters, Jane & her husband, Bernard Thies and Janice & her husband, John Kessler; five grandchildren, Andrea (Jason) Lillie, Scott (Kari) Thies, John Paul (Tiffanie) Kessler, Michelle (Jason) Mills and David (Amanda) Kessler; six great grandchildren, Gracelynne, Brooklin, Gunner, Addison, Sawyer and Bishop; one brother, Leo Venditti; one brother-in-law, Wallace (Alma) Sweeterman; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Paul was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. After serving six years in the U. S. Air Force Paul went on to work at WPAFB for 31 years.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Angelo Anthony at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 East Second Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
