Paul L. Jackson

Paul L. Jackson, age 85, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord August 26, 2011.

Paul was born in Salyersville, KY on August 5, 1926 to the late Clarence & Cassie Jackson.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Edith Pearl May; brother, Carroll Jackson; brother-in-laws, James C. May, Grover May, Ed Lovely, Wilie B. Adams; and sister-in-law, Jean Adams.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Velma (Richard) Sorah, Marcella (David) Avant, and Sharon (Tim) Davis; grandchildren, Paul Edward (Cheryl) Sorah, Matthew Thomas (Alanna) Sorah, Courtney May Davis, Tyler Jackson Davis; great-grandchildren, Emily Kathryn, Robert Allen, Alexandria Nichole, and Olivia Pearl; brother-in-law, Homer Dodd (Phyllis) May; sister-in-laws, Ruth May, Pauline Lovely, Joyce May, Nancy Conley; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 29, 2011 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
