Paul Edwin Jones
October 12, 1927 — January 11, 2019
Jones, Paul Edwin, 91, of Miamisburg, went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2019, at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born October 12, 1927 in Williamsburg, KY to the late Ernest and Nellie (Logan) Jones. Paul was employed at Dayton Press for 38 years as a printer. He served during WWII as a Navy printer. Paul was a Godly man who served and loved his church, Grace Gospel Baptist Church. He was loved by everyone who knew him as a kind, gentle and generous man. Known at the church as the "Popcorn Man", he loved making and giving away his specialty caramel corn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clark Jones.
Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Sue (Tackett) Jones; daughter, Lois (Richard) Metcalf; and sister, Ruth Koulouris.
Special loving thanks to Pastor Mike and wife, Miss Kathy and to all of the church family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00pm at Grace Gospel Baptist Church, 5755 Fairview Dr. Franklin, OH 45005, with Pastor Mike Worrell officiating. Burial at Highland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Gospel Baptist Church in Paul's memory.
