Paul R. Hutsonpillar, age 90, of Kettering, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Frederick and Nora (Gault) Hutsonpillar.
Paul was a proud service member of the Army during WWII and re-enlisted in Air Force where he served during the Korean Conflict. He was a volunteer firefighter with Madison Township Station #2. He also served as a police officer in Madison Township where he retired as a Sergeant. Paul worked for Interstate Folding Box and finished his career at Appleton Paper Mill as a Millwright.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Richard Hutsonpillar and step-sons, Johnny Wilson and Arnold Wilson; brother, Robert "Doc" Hutsonpillar and several siblings.
Paul is survived by his children, Paul F. (Faye) Hutsonpillar, Deborah A. (Jeff) Hoskins; Step-Son, Larry E. (Judy) Wilson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428.
