Paul H. Crosley passed away on June 21 at Hospice of Dayton. Paul was born to Ed and Estella (Fox) Crosley June 25, 1921 in Blanchester, Ohio. He married Laura Mae Green August 10, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio. He served in the Navy during World War II in both the Atlantic and Asian Pacific Campaigns. He served as a Dayton Firefighter for 16 years until a severe injury led to retirement and then became a watch maker. In addition, he was a painter and carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Richard, Robert, and Kenneth. He is survived by his beloved wife Laura Mae of nearly 72 years. He was the proud father of Pastor Michael Crosley (Joy) of Greenwood IN, Pastor Daniel Crosley (Kathy) of Noblesville IN, Dayton residents Douglas Crosley (Lisa), Connie Crosley Flagg (Robert), and David Crosley (Tammy). Also surviving are 15 wonderful grandchildren and 26 special great grandchildren and a host nieces and nephews. Paul and Laura have been faithful servants of Jesus Christ and members of Hope United Methodist Church. Paul served as a Deacon and on various church boards, always reached out to help anyone in need, and had a passion for foreign missions. Their ancient family motto is: "In the Cross we Trust."
Visitation will be Friday 4:00-7:00 PM and Saturday 10:30 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:30 AM – all at the Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike, Dayton.
