Paul Galloway Jr. April 16, 1925-February 12, 2015 Born in Augusta, KY to Paul Smith Galloway and Callie Malee (Poe) Galloway. The family relocated to Brooksville, KY in 1939, where he graduated from high school in 1942, later attending West Virginia Wesleyan College. He was employed at Wright Field, Dayton, OH, in the Aero Medical Laboratory, and later at the Leland Electric Co. Final employment was at Grimes Aerospace in Urbana, OH where he served in various engineering department functions including direct design responsibilities in the Gemini and Apollo space programs as well as commercial and military aircraft equipment. After 24 years with Grimes, he retired in 1987. With his wife and son, they located in Beavercreek in 1958. Paul joined the Methodist Church in Kentucky when he was approximately 16 years of age, and was a lifelong member, transferring membership to Community United Methodist Church March 15, 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife of 59 years Virginia (Perkins) and brother Donald. Survivors include his son B. Lynn; granddaughter Amy Galloway-Roma and her husband Mark Roma; their children Ian, Liam, and Ceili; Brother-in-law Melvin Perkins and wife Mary Ann of Albuquerque, NM, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, Ohio on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5pm-7pm with a funeral service to follow on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
