Paul Everett Deskins

Deskins, Paul Everett, age 76, of Huber Heights, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 6, 1932 in Borderland, West Virginia, the son of James Dow & Garnett (Stratton) Deskins. Paul served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was formerly employed by Allied Van Lines. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Audrey Goodman. Survivors include his wife, Ocie (Newsome) Deskins; sons, Danny Paul Deskins and Jammy Ray (Sian Mary)Deskins; grandchildren, Kevin Paul, Molly Elaine, Megan Elizabeth, & Matthew James Deskins; sisters, Ruth Cantrell, Mary Elizabeth Thomas, Marge Benedict, and Cassie Wagner; and his brothers, Kenneth & Johnny Deskins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
