Paul E. Reed, 77, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on September 30, 2016. He was born on August 3, 1939, Lima, Ohio to the late Harold and Lois Reed.
Paul retired as a collateral Auditor for GMAC and Bank One. He attended the First Baptist Kettering Church. Paul loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed collecting items at flea markets and garage sales. Paul liked all sports and played three sports in high school. He followed the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He and Margene made many memories vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. Paul will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stan and Dwight Reed and sister, Ruby Dawson. Paul will be missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Margene Reed; daughters,, Michelle (Scott) Grapner and Melanie Reed; grandchildren, Tyler (Tricia) Grapner, Joshua Grapner, Corey Ashworth and Caleigh Ashworth; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Joey, Lyla and one on the way; brother, Dan Reed and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date in Lima, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Grace Bible College, Grand Rapids, MI.
