Paul E. Hucke

Hucke, Paul E. "P.E.", age 83, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed peacefully at home on Monday, September 26, 2011. He was born August 28, 1928 to the late Arthur & Stella Hucke.

Paul is survived by his wife: Judith Hucke; sons: Ron (Heather), John, Paul (Anna), Brian (Theresa), Todd; step son: Mark (Fiona); grandchildren: John (Dona), Heather (Chris), Zane, Madison, Nick, Shaun (Kellie), Holly, Marie, Marianne, Brian, Catherine, Michael; great grandchildren: Kiersten, Kendra, Mariah, Lilly, Alli, Jackson, William, Miranda; sister: Pat Young; mothers-in-law: Leah Miller Stites & Barbara Kloph Miller; dear friends: Jay & Natalie, Viola, Fred & Rita, Cheri & Barry; and numerous other family members and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Mary Ellen; and sister: Helen.

Paul was a proud 30 year United States Navy Veteran. Over the course of his career, beginning in 1945, Paul served aboard many vessels including: USS Erben, USS Hale, USS Klondike, USS Merrick, USS Bayfield, USS Montrose, USS Hornet, USS Fox and USS Independence, and included 8 Good Conduct Awards. He was also a lifetime member of American Legion #598 Kettering Post and VFW #9550 Centerville Post.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 30, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Entombment with military honors will follow the service at David's Cemetery Mausoleum in Kettering, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Attn: Donor Services, 4899 Belford Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 in memory of Paul.
