Paul D. Dunaway Jr., age 35, of Huber Heights, passed away on August 18, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1988 to Kris Young-Cusick and Paul D. Dunaway Sr.
He loved the outdoors and nature. He was adventurous and enjoyed exploring. He was a free spirit who was very artistic and creative, and shared his creativity through drawing.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul D. Dunaway Sr., and his wife, Tori; his paternal grandparents, Shirley & Dillard Dunaway; his maternal grandfather, Carl Young Jr.; and his uncles, Donnie Mullins Sr. and Carl Young III.
Paul's memory will be cherished by his son, Briggs Dunaway; his mother, Kris (Dan) Young-Cusick; his siblings: Dylan (Makala) Dunaway, Alexis (John) Helton, Anthony (Stephanie) Godsey, and Alisha Dunaway; his maternal grandmother, Judy Young; aunts: Carla Mullins and Kathy (Bobby) Slone; special cousin, Donny Mullins Jr.; special friend, Josh (Ashley) Woods; and numerous extended family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for a memorial for Paul from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Gateway Shelter for Men.
