Paul L. Borders
October 23, 1935 — February 17, 2019
Paul L. Borders, age 83 of Englewood, Ohio and formerly of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Stone Spring of Vandalia. He was born October 23, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Avery and Iva Borders.
Paul worked at Dayton Press for 28 years. He attended Englewood First Baptist Church for many years and most recently attended North Huber Heights Baptist Church. He spent the past eleven years selling La Rosa's Buddy Cards raising money to feed thousands of people Thanksgiving dinner over the years.
Paul was a devoted father and really loved to spend time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six brothers.
Paul will be missed by his loving children, Randy (Jackie) Borders, Laura (Steve) Connock and Paul (Esther) Borders; granchildren, Michael, Bradley, Paytin, Hannah, Grace, Brianna, Ella and Myles and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
