Paul H. Bennett

Paul H. Bennett, age 89 of Dayton, OH passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018. He was born June 7, 1928 in Wakefield, Ohio to Norman and Hessie Mae (Price) Bennett.

Paul retired from General Motors after 41 years and was a member of the Dayton Masonic Lodge. He loved boating, tubing and skiing with friends and family. Paul also enjoyed horseback riding, camping and riding motorcycles in his younger years. He was a member of Ginghamsburg Church where he ran the Furniture Ministry and served as a Youth Group Leader. Since 1989 he has resided during the winter months in Ft. Myer's, Florida, where he enjoyed boating, playing euchre and spending time with friends. Paul loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Paul is survived by his wife Helen; two daughters, Paula (Dana) Baker and Linda (Bob) Phillips; three sons, Gary (Virginia) Bennett, Monte (Heather) Simmons and Lanny Simmons; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Carol (Claude) Evans; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 33 years, Donna K. Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:30 am at Ginghamsburg Church, 6759 County Road 25A, Tipp City, OH 45371. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral and Receptions, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
