Paul G. Barton Sr.

Barton Sr., Paul Gleason age 84, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019. He was born in Leitchfield, Kentucky on June 4, 1934 to the late Gertrude Branham (nee McCormick).

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Reba Afton Barton (nee Farley); children, Paul G. (Kathi) Barton, II, Lisa C. Daniels, and Jamison F. (Cynthia) Barton; grandchildren, Paul G. (Dale) Barton, III, Jason C. (Wendy) Barton, Lucinda (Joe) Sarver, Joshua (Abby) Daniels, Danielle (Ben) Conklin, Elijah Barton, and Wesley Barton; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

When Paul was young, he loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. As he got older, he enjoyed antiquing with his wife and golfing and bowling with his friends. Paul loved watching his grandsons play football, granddaughter play soccer, was a avid reader of Westerns, and NEVER missed Jeopardy.

Paul loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm. Paul will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Rd., Xenia, Ohio 45385.
