Patty Morgan

Patricia "Patty" Louise Morgan, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Wife and friend, died peacefully with her family at her bedside December 9th in Dayton, Ohio at age 65, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Patty is survived by her husband, Bige Morgan of Bellbrook, Ohio; her Daughter Jessie Mathes and her husband, Logan of Jeffersonville, Indiana, her granddaughter Leona Mathes of Jeffersonville, Indiana, her mother, Loraine "Jewell" Shearer of Kettering, Ohio; her Brother Russell "Butch" Shearer of Kettering, Ohio, her Sister Carol Shearer of Columbus, Ohio, her Niece Elizabeth "Betsy" Shearer, Nephew Josh Edds, Nephew Jimmi Shearer, Nephew Alex Edds, and Niece Jenny Edds. She is preceded in death by Her Father Russell "Russ" Shearer and her Nephew Russell "Rusty" Shearer.

Patty was born on August 21st, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1970. Patty later attended Sinclair Community College where she studied Art. Patty enjoyed art and was talented with all mediums. Patty worked as a Deli Manager at Lofino's in Beavercreek, Ohio. After working for Lofino's for 25 years, Patty was able to leave her career to work in the home and raise their daughter. Patty later returned to work at Kroger in the Murray's Cheese department as a Cheese Master where her joyous fun loving spirit was enjoyed by all. Patty was an avid gardener, enjoyed all wildlife, and knew much about flowers and plants. Patty loved spring time when the flowers began to bloom.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday December 16th, 2017 from 3-5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio with memorial service to follow at 5pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Patty's life.
