Patrick Thomas Leet

Patrick T. Leet, 70, from Springboro, fought a hard long battle from Cancer, sadly passed away at 1:15 A.M. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving wife, Brenda, his daughter, Glenna Joe, his granddaughter, Breana & his brother-in-law, Charlie. He was born on March 17, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to his parents, the late Kelly & Lina (Buckler) Leet.

Patrick graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1970. He was a truck driver for 40 plus years (25 years with Cordell Trucking Company). Patrick was a loving, caring family man who loved & enjoyed spending time with his family, having cookouts and going camping. He loved working in the yard & enjoyed sitting on the patio with his wife & family admiring their beautiful little backyard oasis. Patrick was a very laid back guy with the biggest heart. He loved to joke around, tease & flirt with the girls that worked at Kroger, especially Jane & Jenny. Patrick did everything for his wife, kids and grandchildren. He always made sure his wife got what she wanted & needed. Patrick loved to ride his motorcycle. He & his wife would just hop on the motorcycle & just take long rides together. Patrick was head strong, stubborn & he was always right & always knew everything no matter what, but was so lovable. He enjoyed watching & going to Nascar races (big Dale Jr fan). Patrick also enjoyed watching OSU Buckeyes & Bengals football. He was such a trusting, loyal & honorable man. Patrick got so excited when his daughter, Glenna Joe, made him his own "Honorary Cornhole Member" card & he would brag to everyone about being special for having that card & would say that that meant "he knew everything about cornhole."

Patrick was preceded in death by his father & mother, Kelly & Lina (Buckler) Leet, his brothers, Junior, Roy, Harold, Virgil, Greg, Dickey, & Johnny and his sisters, Frances & Viola.

Patrick is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Brenda; his daughter Glenna Joe Shelton (James); son, Brian (Mindy) Leet. His grandchildren - Breana "Boo," Rikki Lynn "Tinker/Pnut", Abigail, Dustin, Hannah, Chase & Kelsey. Greatgrandchildren - Aiden & Cassidy. Sisters - Doris (Leon) Henn & KB Leet. Many nieces & nephews as well as many beloved Co-workers & friends at CTC as well as many other beloved family & friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 with Services immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, OH 45439.
